The English Camp 2014
The English Camp of the Grade 6
students was conducted successfully in the school premises of B/Welimada
Central College on 8th of August 2014. Five English teachers of Welimada
Central College contributed as resources persons in this occasion. The principal
of the school Mr.D.M.Karunasena addressing the opening ceremony, expressed his
extreme pleasure for organizing such a varied task for the development of
students fluency in English. Further he stressed the important of English to
cater the needs of job market.
The participants were highly
enthusiastic in the activities conducted by the resource persons. At the end of
the camp they dismissed joyfully.
